We’re thrilled to invite you to submit your photographs for the Girls Who Chase 2025 calendar! Whether you’ve captured powerful storms, dramatic skies, or other striking weather phenomena, we want to see your best shots. This is open to all female/female-identified photographers at all levels of experience, whether you are a veteran or just getting started. This is your chance to showcase your work and be part of a project that celebrates the incredible talents of women in weather. Submit today for a chance to be featured in our calendar and inspire others through the beauty and power of nature!
All proceeds from the sales of the Girls Who Chase 2025 calendar will go directly towards funding the Girls Who Chase initiative. Your support helps us continue empowering women in weather & storm chasing by covering operations costs, expenses for software, resource assistance, and more. THANK YOU for helping us continue to provide resources, education, and visibility for women in this exciting field.
Please read all the rules & details below before submitting your photograph(s). Do not use the contact form to send photos as you are not able to attach files or photos to that form. How to Submit Your Photograph(s):

Send an email to: GIRLSWHOCHASE@GMAIL.COM with the following information:

Attach a low resolution file (under 5 MB file size) of the final edited version of the photograph(s) to the email. Up to 2 images can be submitted per person.

Type in the subject line: GWC Calendar Photo Submission

In the body of the email include:

Your Name (First and Last)

Date and Location of the Photograph(s) attached

Your social media account handle(s) and/or website

Any additional information about the photograph(s) or your passion for weather that you want to share (this item is optional and will not be used during the photo selection process).

Rules & Details:

Photographs must be submitted as digital file attachments via email to: GIRLSWHOCHASE@GMAIL.COM as JPEG files at low resolution (file size under 5MB).

Submissions are due by Sunday, October 27th, 2024.

Photographs must have been taken by the person submitting the image and within the past 2 years, between April 2022 and October 2024.

Each person can submit up to 2 images to be considered for the calendar.

Photos can be from any camera device (phone, DSLR, film, etc). The original, unedited file will be requested via email for all final selected images that will appear in the calendar.

All final selected images will be requested at high resolution for printing. Details for sending larger files and captions for the photographs will be sent directly to the photographers via email after selections have been made.

All photograph submissions may be shared on GWC social media and website, along with the photographer’s name and social media account(s).

Final selected images will be published in the GWC calendar and used for marketing purposes. A Photography Permissions Agreement detailing a non-exclusive license will be sent for signature by the photographer prior to publication. This license must be signed before photo can be used.

Photographer(s) whose images are selected for the calendar will be sent one free GWC 2025 Calendar.

Photographer(s) whose images are selected for the calendar will be featured on the GWC social media platforms and website. The feature profile will including their name, website & social media information, information about the photograph, and a digital image of the photograph that was chosen for the calendar.

Final images will be selected by Sunday, Nov 3

High resolution images, captions, and license agreement signature will be due by November 10th
-
Calendar will be created and available for purchase by November 15th
